Come and join us for a series of Summer Family Days out ! Featuring ‘The BIG Pooh Picnic’ & ‘The GIANT Pooh Trail’. We are hosting days on Sunday the 13th of July & Saturday the 2nd of August (11am to 3pm). These days out are family friendly, welcoming all ages. Activities will include, nature walks with fun facts & talks. We are going to enjoy an array of diverse foods that will expand tastebuds, using natures home grown produce (Adult and Child friendly Foods !) We will be visiting animals & creatures of many kinds. We will have creative and fact finding fun learning all about Poo, hearing how honey is made, and explore what poo can do for biodiversity & farming !

11am : Greetings & Pooh Trails:
The GIANT Pooh Trail : recommended for Adults & children 7 + (with an accompanying adult) Walk & Talk guided by Stephen Morrison, covering a trail through 300 + acre of private farmland. Adults will enjoy learning new facts on nature and visit Hartwell’s special breed of Highland cattle, while kids will enjoy fun facts about poo (!) and its importance in biodiversity and farming. Forested & Waterway areas will be featured during this trail.

The tiny Pooh Trail : recommended for children 6 and under (with an accompanying adult) Short forest garden walk & Hen House tour guided by Heidi Morrison. We will be using creative ‘pooh inspired’ games. Featuring ‘Dung Beetle Making’, ‘Winnie Where Are You?’ and ‘Find Piglet In The Woods !’
1 pm : The BIG Pooh Picnic !
The biggest pooh picnic will be enjoyed for all ages (featuring the biggest picnic blanket you have ever seen!) Local and home grown produce will be centre stage. Yummy Pooh sandwiches & Pooh cakes will be the highlight of the day !
2 pm : After Pooh Party !
Family’s will enjoy various activities in our Soearth Walled Garden this will include bee keeping presentations, face painting, live Music and craft & food stalls.
3pm : Home
Tickets : 25 single ticket/40 euro for a couple/55 euro for a family of 4 (for extra children in larger families 10 euro per child extra) (limited bookings)
