<image:caption>We had a fantastic time at our Self Care day with ‘Hope Cottage’ a local group supporting family members effected by addiction. Organised with the Drugs task force. We explored the outdoors and enjoyed making connections with nature, creativity, and the group. Adjacent image, depicts the power of sharing experiences and being together. This was made and expressed by one of the group members ‘the umbrella is an experience of being held and sheltered by the group. Sheltered from hostile weather - as a result growth can happen’ 28.11.21</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog / Events - Creative Self Care with Nature and Art</image:title>
<image:caption>Our first Self-Care in-person group got off the ground this summer ! We had all weathers during our two days together…we embraced the sun, rain, wind, and even thunderstorms (thanks to our canopy of tree cover!). We had many mindful and creative moments together during our forested and river walks. We made hanging sculptures, recorded our experiences in journals and created murals. We delved into paint pots, with mixed media and used ‘found’ natural object. All in tranquil and playful delight ! 22/08/21</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Merchant of Venice: A Crooked House Theatre Production. We were delighted to host The Merchant of Venice preformed by Crooked House Theatre this summer. Crooked House is a theatre and arts organisation working with artists, actors, and non-actors in a range of settings to develop new performance material. They work mainly with young and emerging performers, supporting a vibrant youth organisation and a well developed outreach and educational programme. We were delighted to support the great work they do and excited that they were first to use our studio! It was an amazing show by all accounts. We were grateful to offer a venue where Covid-19 restrictions can be applied. The use of our large ventilated studio, outdoors spaces, with added protection of mask wearing/actors testing/audience distance and restricted numbers. made it all possible, and oh-my-goodness it was worth it! 16/08/21</image:caption>

<image:caption>Child Psychotherapist / Play Therapist Niamh has been working with children for over 20 years and has completed psychotherapy training in 2011. Since then she has worked in both private practice and schools, supporting children and families through play therapy. Niamh created and led the first play therapy projects available in school settings, this has allowed this approach become more accessible to the children who need it most. Niamh provides safe experiences and enviroments for children, of which encourages their own specific journey for healing and growth. Over the years, Niamh has completed additional training in a range of therapeutic approaches and evidence-based parenting programmes. Outside of the therapy room, Niamh has always loved nature. A number of years ago, Niamh discovered mindfulness, experiencing this as a natural companion to her love of the outdoors. Niamh went on to train as a mindfulness teacher, and I now weaves both nature and mindfulness into her work with children in ways that bring calm and connection. <image:title>Children/Adolescents - Creative Arts Therapy for Youth</image:title>
<image:caption>Our service host therapists that have specialisms in Child and Adolescents. Art, music and play are the most accessible and non-threatening way for a child or adolescent to communicate his/her thoughts and feelings. When a young person/child is absorbed in an art making process/play they are engaged in working through feelings/scenarios experienced in their life. The use of creative mediums within the therapeutic context provides an effective platform for expression of difficulties. These conflicts can be shared and explored safely with the therapist. The therapeutic framework applied through this approach helps a child develop self-awareness, self-identity and processing/resolution of challenges.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Adult - Creative Arts Therapy for Adults</image:title>
<image:caption>Soearth Projects provides a creative arts therapy service for adults. Offering modalities in Art Psychotherapy and Music Therapy. The use of the creative arts therapy is an expressive and powerful intervention with which to connect and externalise presenting thoughts and feelings safely with the therapist. As Adults, we sometimes feel stuck and unable to move beyond our inner challenges. An expressive approach found in Creative Arts Therapy facilitates a moving through and safe engagement with sometimes difficult inner thoughts and emotions. To use creative arts therapy is not about the participants' level of artistic ability. It is rather about an engagement with the creative experience. This process enables the individual to identify, work through and make sense of presenting thoughts and feelings. Creative Arts Therapists maintain a client led, gentle and paced experience for clients.</image:caption>
